Storage Ideas is a new facility locally owned and operated. Our first building opened for rent in August 2005 and our newest building opened in November 2007.
We currently have 332 units, both Climate & Non-Climate Controlled. Our Climate Controlled (CC) units
maintain an

temperature during the summer months and 50 during the winter months.
The buildings and layout were designed for optimal visibility. They are surrounded by high quality steel fencing for top security. Since access to the facility is 24 hrs. a day, 7 days a week, gracious lighting gives you the comfort of well-being at any hour, day or night. Access to our gated facility is given only to our tenants by the use of an electronic keypad with individual access codes.
We are located on Hwy 70 in Newport, NC, next to Time Warner Cable and U-Haul / Timmy's Alignment. For your convenience we accept payment by check, money order and credit card (Visa/MasterCard).

The Kelley's have been residents of Newport for the last 10 years while Kevin served in the United States Marine Corps. Kevin, now retired, along with his wife Sheri live on the property and manage the facility.
